1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in a browser or on a device. They can support essential technical functions, remember choices, measure use of a website or support security. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and short-lived verification tokens.
2. How the Vestigit Website currently uses them
Vestigit follows a data-minimisation approach. Necessary technical storage is used to deliver requested pages, maintain security, prevent abuse, submit the contact form and remember your cookie choice. That choice is stored locally in your browser under the key vestigit_cookie_consent_v1.
In addition, the Website offers two optional categories: analytics, provided by Google Analytics 4, and marketing, provided by the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Both categories are switched off until you give consent. No optional script is loaded and no optional request is sent before an affirmative choice is made.
3. Current categories
| Category | Purpose | Provider/status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Website delivery, security, request handling, technical operation and storing your cookie choice | Vestigit and its hosting or infrastructure providers; always active. |
| Anti-abuse verification | Protecting the contact form from automated submissions | Cloudflare Turnstile or a comparable provider, only where enabled; treated as necessary for form security. |
| Analytics | Aggregated measurement of Website use, such as pages viewed and general interaction patterns | Google Analytics 4 (Google). Optional; off until consent. |
| Marketing and advertising | Advertising conversion measurement, LinkedIn Website Actions, retargeting and aggregated audience insights | LinkedIn Insight Tag, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. Optional; off until consent. |
| Preferences | Remembering optional interface choices | Not currently used. |
4. Optional analytics: Google Analytics 4
If you allow the analytics category, the Website loads Google Analytics 4 and reports page views and a small number of non-identifying interaction events. This is used to understand aggregated Website use and to improve content. Page addresses for administrative pages that can carry one-time links are reported without any query string, so link tokens are never included.
Information about Google’s processing is available in the Google cookie information and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Optional marketing: LinkedIn Insight Tag
If you allow the marketing category, the Website loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 9631106). It supports advertising conversion measurement, LinkedIn Website Actions, retargeting of Website visitors in LinkedIn advertising and aggregated audience insights about the professional profile of Website visitors.
LinkedIn enhanced conversion matching is not enabled. Vestigit does not transmit email addresses, contact-form field values, message content, booking links or other personal details to LinkedIn through this tag. The tag is also not loaded on administrative pages that can carry one-time links.
Information about LinkedIn’s processing is available in the LinkedIn cookie table and the LinkedIn Privacy Policy. Retention periods are determined by each provider and are described in their own documentation.
6. Third-party resources
The Website may request technical resources, such as fonts, hosting assets or security services, from third-party infrastructure providers. Even where no cookie is set, the provider may receive technical connection data such as an IP address, browser information and request time. Personal-data processing connected with those services is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Consent and withdrawal
Strictly necessary technologies may operate without optional consent where they are required to provide a service you requested or to secure that service.
Analytics and marketing technologies are activated only after you select them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the Website footer. After withdrawal the Website stops further optional data collection, removes the related script and attempts to delete the associated first-party cookies; the page may reload once so that any already-running provider script stops.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the Website or contact form from working correctly.
For general browser-specific information, visit www.internetcookies.com.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the Website begins using different technologies or providers. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
10. Contact
Questions about cookies or similar technologies can be submitted through the Vestigit contact form or sent to the registered postal address:
